Administrative Support Clerk

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Professional to support one of our leading local non-profit clients on a contract basis. This role involves providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth operations, accurate recordkeeping, and timely processing of departmental tasks.

Location: Vancouver Washington

Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (Approx. 6 months, with potential extension)

Compensation: $21.38-$22.45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sending, receiving, and processing applications to internal department.
  • Maintain and update Excel tracking spreadsheets to ensure accurate data management.
  • Upload and store documents in the system in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Process incoming and returned mail efficiently and accurately.
  • Update notes and relevant data within the system to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative support, data entry, or office coordination.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with document management systems preferred (Docuware, Elite, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

Assignment Duration:

Approximately 3 months, with potential for extension based on departmental needs. (not guaranteed)
